Australian citizenship
In accordance with the Public Service Act 1999, all employees of the Australian Submarine Agency must be Australian citizens.
Qualifications
Applicants must have completed a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or higher within one of the relevant disciplines within the last 5 years at the time of commencement.

Applicants completing their degree during the application process must verify degree completion prior to entering the program.
Applicants must have graduated with a minimum of a credit average over the course of their degree.
Security clearance
In accordance with Section 22 (6) of the Public Service Act 1999, a security clearance is a condition of employment for employees of the Australian Submarine Agency.
All employees are required to undergo comprehensive security clearance processing prior to commencement with the department, and revalidated at regular intervals, determined by the clearance level.
